Solar Prospect has worked on solar projects worldwide for a range of client types including lenders, utilities and landowners. A selection of our projects are listed below.
250MW Solar Dawn
Solar Dawn is a proposed 250 megawatt solar thermal power plant to be built near Chinchilla in South West Queensland by a consortium including AREVA Solar and Wind Prospect.
Solar Prospect, part of the Wind Prospect Group, was chosen to develop the project based on our extensive track record in development, having consented 1.3GW of projects in Australia, which makes us the largest independent wind farm developer in the Southern hemisphere. Solar Dawn was selected as the successful solar thermal project in Round 1 of the Australian Government’s Solar Flagships Programme, which aims to provide the foundation for large-scale, grid-connected solar power and to accelerate the commercialisation of solar power.
10MW in the Caribbean
Solar Prospect has carried out vendor due diligence for 10 solar projects in the Caribbean. The projects are on the French island of Guadeloupe in the Leeward Islands. Our work also included a yield assessment and energy performance certificate contract negotiation.
20MW audit in France
In South France, Solar Prospect audited a 20MW solar project with a focus on the feasibility study of the grid connection and construction planning.
40MW due diligence in France
Two vendor due diligence reports were prepared for solar projects in the south of France comprising 36 MW and 4 MW.
33MW operations in France
Solar Prospect has been managing the operations of several solar PV projects totalling 32MW of full scope and 15MW of limited scope projects, including data monitoring.
